Dr. Charles Coats completed his Doctor of Veterinary Medicine in the spring of 2011 from Kansas State University. During his veterinary tenure, Charles graduated with a Masters in Biomedical Sciences with an emphasis in virology. Charles received his undergraduate degree in Microbiology from the University of Kansas. Charles’ path to becoming a veterinarian was a true union between medicine and a love for animals.
Dr. Coats originally hails from Kansas but spent the last 4 years at a small animal practice in Tennessee. While in Knoxville, Charles developed a knack for general medicine specifically cardiology, ophthalmology, and endocrinology. Charles values the human animal bond and the lasting relationships that ensue with clients.
Dr. Coats considers Las Vegas his gateway to the West. During his cross-country trip, Charles brought his lovely wife, Jill, who is also a veterinarian, old brown dog, Annie, and two kitties. In his leisure time, Charles enjoys biking, running, coffee, Kansas Jayhawks basketball, and exploring the West with Jill.
